Mert Vinç, a Turkish company active in mobile crane rental, aerial platforms and heavy transport services, has expanded its fleet with a 300-tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.4.

With the addition of the new LTM 1300-6.4, Mert Vinç continues to renew its mobile crane fleet. The six-axle model offers a maximum lifting capacity of 300 tonnes and several configuration options, factors that contributed to the Turkish company’s investment decision. The crane will be used primarily at industrial facilities, on construction sites and for specialised projects, where the ability to operate in confined spaces can be a key requirement.

The LTM 1300-6.4 features a 90-metre telescopic boom. The model incorporates the LICCON3 control system and the VarioBase®Plus variable outrigger system, enabling the crane configuration to be adapted to operating conditions and the space available on site.

“In addition to the base unit, we have ordered lattice jibs, a second winch and 7-metre extension sections. Combined with the LICCON3 control system, our new 6-axle crane is ideal for efficient, safe and versatile crane operations,”

Said Mehmet Eşref Zevzir, owner of the company.

Additional configurations broaden operating possibilities

The partnership between Mert Vinç and Liebherr began in 2024. Today, the Turkish company’s fleet includes nine mobile cranes from the German manufacturer. Four LTM 1230-5.1 cranes entered service last year, while the new LTM 1300-6.4 is the fifth Liebherr acquisition completed within a relatively short period.

“A key factor in our decision to order from Liebherr again is, in particular, the reliability of the cranes and the customer-focused collaboration,”

Added Zevzir.

Founded in 1991, Mert Vinç operates in Türkiye, providing crane rental and heavy transport services, with around 60 employees working across industrial, construction, and infrastructure projects. The new LTM 1300-6.4 will initially be used on petrochemical projects, before being deployed for tower crane and power line assembly, as well as lifting operations in shipyards.
