Diamond Mowers’ annual Dealer Demo Days and Champion Training events are back. The two programs are designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities for equipment dealers serving contractors, municipalities, forestry professionals, and land management crews.

As equipment applications become more specialized, knowledgeable dealer partners play an important role in helping contractors select, maintain, and maximize the performance of their equipment.

Through its Dealer Demo Days and Champion Trainings, Diamond has helped dealers enhance both field knowledge and technical confidence through practical application insights. For more than 25 years, these investments in field-based learning and dealer development have played an important role in dealer teams’ better understanding of performance needs and making more informed recommendations throughout the buying and ownership process.

“A strong dealer network is built on more than inventory,” said Dacotah Buum, sales project manager at Diamond. “It comes from training, shared knowledge, and the ability to help customers make informed decisions when they are investing in equipment to meet ever-increasing work demands.”

Take a look inside Demo Days

Dealer Demo Days give dealers, contractors, and equipment operators personal, face-to-face opportunities to ask application-specific questions and understand how different machines perform in land-clearing and vegetation management environments. They also create space for conversations around application fit, job site demands, and the operational variables that can influence performance while in the field.

“Seeing equipment perform on the job helps bring application discussions into sharper focus,” Buum explained. “That kind of visibility can help dealers and customers evaluate what works best for the application in front of them.”

Beyond the demonstrations themselves, Diamond will work alongside participating dealers to help plan and execute successful Demo Days. Diamond provides access to event-planning guidance, training resources, marketing support, and more to create engaging experiences for their customers. Depending on availability, Diamond Regional Sales Managers and factory representatives may also assist with planning and preparation.

To help drive attendance and engagement, Diamond can also provide resources such as operating technique videos, promotional materials, social media assets, RSVP support, and other event tools for dealers to showcase equipment capabilities and connect with customers. Dealer Demo Days primarily run from April through October each year, and those interested in hosting an event can learn more or register on the Diamond on Demand Dealer Portal.

Champion Training two-day immersive course

A two-day course combining in-class and out-in-the-field instruction with hands-on training, Diamond’s Champion Training is held at the company’s Sioux Falls headquarters and covers everything from product training and application to sales tools.

Participants receive factory tours and equipment operation tips as well, providing a behind-the-scenes look at Diamond’s products while reinforcing the techniques and insights needed to better serve customers in the field.

By improving operational consistency across dealer teams, Champion Training also helps create a more informed customer experience for those who rely on their equipment day in and day out. The remaining 2026 Champion Training sessions will take place July 22 to 23, August 26 to 27, and September 16 to 17. Diamond provides lodging and meals for attendees, and dealers interested in participating can register on the Diamond on Demand Dealer Portal or by contacting their regional sales manager.
