JCB has launched the new 370X excavator, the largest in the JCB X Series, which is available in Europe and North America.
The 370X is equipped with a powerful and efficient 8.9L 240kw Cummins L9 engine, fine-tuned to reach max power at 1700rpm. Its new hydraulic system features Kawasaki pumps and the latest-gen KYB valve block. The excavator also features a host of advanced features to maximize productivity: lift performance and stability have been improved by up to 5,200kg for optimal operation.
The 370X has undergone extensive testing for ultimate robustness and it features an all-new dig end with reinforced structures for maximum durability, as well as an updated slew ring. The bucket pin diameters have been maximized to 100mm to add extra strength.
JCB has added a host of features designed to protect the operator and everyone on site, including:
- Standard full HD twin camera system for unrivaled visibility.

- 10-minute Follow Me Home lighting to extend visibility during late hours.
The 370X’s cabin has a host of new features:
- Sleek and intuitive 10″ touch screen display with integrated HD camera feed.
- Customizable user profiles with immobilizer input code for greater security.
- Increased intervals for hydraulics, induction filters and greasing to simplify servicing.
- Ground level access for most daily checks.
The new JCB tracked excavator includes fuel-saving features and extended service intervals, leading to reduced ownership costs:
- Engine Auto Stop and Idle features help the fuel go further.
- Filter changes reduced by 23% over the 370X’s 10,000 hour lifetime.
- High quality components and easy access to maintenance save significant costs and time.
