Perkins is sharing its advanced power solutions and a new industrial engine at The ARA Show, providing rental equipment suppliers and customers with ways to face the skilled labour shortage, emissions and noise requirements, and equipment electrification.

Perkins engines and support offerings are specifically tailored for machinery used by rental customers, ranging from pumps, compressors, and welders to mobile generator sets, compact track loaders, mini excavators, and aerial work platforms.

“As the North American rental industry encounters sustained customer demand, rental companies are demanding equipment that delivers superior performance and dependability with minimal service and maintenance requirements,” said Corey Berry, global rental sales and marketing manager for Perkins. “We’re poised with power solutions and support services optimized for rental applications, including highly efficient and reliable engines available today and next-generation battery-driven powertrains for tomorrow’s machines.”

The Perkins prototype battery, which uses lithium-ion technology and is designed for recycling and reuse at the end of life, will be at the show. The 48, 300, and 600-volt battery configurations have a robust, modular design, and feature factory-installed telematics to optimize performance in off-highway applications while minimizing packaging.
