The new Motion Systems Experience Center in Offenburg lets OEMs bring their own applications, run live demonstrations and test components for mobile and industrial machines
Choosing hydraulic and electric motion components for a new machine usually means weeks of back-and-forth between engineers, catalogues and test rigs. Parker Hannifin wants to compress that into one trip.
The motion and control specialist opened its Parker Motion Systems Experience Center in Offenburg, Germany, on 15 September 2026. The facility gives customers and channel partners one place to test, compare and specify motion system technologies for mobile and industrial applications.
What visitors can do
Working with Parker specialists, customers can run live demonstrations, bring their own machine applications into technical sessions and get hands-on in a dedicated product training area. The aim is to evaluate technologies and settle on a specification in a single visit.
The centre sits close to Parker’s Electric Motion and Pneumatic Division Europe in Offenburg. At its core is an exhibition area showing the current Motion Systems Group portfolio for industrial and mobile applications, supported by training and conference rooms.
“The Parker Motion Systems Experience Center in Offenburg will bring customers, partners, and Parker experts together to collaborate more closely, explore applications in detail, and develop tailored solutions,”
Said Ulrich Jochem, Vice President of Operations for Parker’s Motion Systems Group EMEA.
Channel partners will also use the centre to evaluate new technologies and identify business opportunities as the portfolio grows.
Why it matters to machine builders
For OEMs of construction and agricultural equipment, the shift towards electrified and electro-hydraulic drives has made component selection more complex. Being able to test combinations side by side, with the supplier’s engineers in the room, can shorten development cycles at a time when many manufacturers are redesigning platforms.
