The new Offenburg facility gives customers and channel partners a dedicated space to test, compare and define motion system technologies for mobile and industrial applications.

Parker Hannifin has opened a new Motion Systems Experience Center in Offenburg, Germany, creating a dedicated location where customers and channel partners can evaluate motion system technologies with direct support from Parker specialists.

Opened on 15 September 2026, the center is designed to bring testing, technical discussion, product comparison and specification work into a single visit. For customers working across mobile and industrial applications, that matters because motion system choices often depend on more than individual product performance. They require application review, hands-on evaluation and close alignment between the machine’s requirements and the available technologies.

Located close to Parker’s Electric Motion and Pneumatic Division Europe in Offenburg, the new facility includes an exhibition area displaying the current Motion Systems Group portfolio for both industrial and mobile applications. The site also features dedicated training and conference rooms, as well as a hands-on product training area.

The format is intended to support a more practical and collaborative approach to system selection. Customers will be able to run live demonstrations with Parker specialists, bring their own machine applications into technical sessions and work directly with products in the training area. The goal is to help them evaluate technologies and define a specification in one place.

For channel partners, the center also provides a space to assess new technologies and identify business opportunities as Parker’s portfolio develops. In practical terms, the facility is positioned not only as a showroom, but as a technical working environment where product knowledge, application requirements and commercial opportunities can meet.

“The Parker Motion Systems Experience Center in Offenburg will bring customers, partners, and Parker experts together to collaborate more closely, explore applications in detail, and develop tailored solutions while taking advantage of Parker’s core products. By connecting customer needs with Parker’s team members and portfolio, the Center will strengthen partnerships and support shared future success.”

Said Ulrich Jochem, Vice President of Operations for Parker’s Motion Systems Group EMEA.

For Parker, the opening reinforces the role of customer-facing technical centers in helping users navigate motion system choices. Instead of evaluating products remotely or across separate stages, customers and partners can compare technologies, discuss applications and work toward specifications in a single setting.

The Offenburg center also reflects the growing importance of hands-on training and direct collaboration in motion and control technologies. As mobile and industrial applications continue to demand more tailored system solutions, facilities such as the Parker Motion Systems Experience Center are intended to shorten the distance between product capability and real-world machine requirements.
