Tadano is growing its product offerings in the aerial work platform segment with the acquisition of Japanese manufacturer Nagano Industry Co., Ltd.
Nagano is known in Japan for its highly specialized self-propelled crawler aerial work platforms, used in a range of fields including construction and civil engineering as well as factories, shipbuilding, and maintenance.
The acquisition will allow Tadano to expand its own aerial work platform offerings into self-propelled aerial work vehicles, a high-demand category. Tadano will leverage Nagano’s advanced development and manufacturing technologies for further growth in this segment.
