Participants advance through multiple rounds of theoretical and practical challenges, including timed diagnostics, troubleshooting exercises, and team-based problem-solving tasks that replicate real workshop conditions, from electrical systems to complex vehicle diagnostics. Each stage pushes teams to think fast, collaborate under pressure, and deliver dependable service.

“VISTA is one of my favourite programs because it represents everything that makes the Volvo Trucks service network so strong — passion, teamwork, technical excellence, and a relentless commitment to supporting our customers,” said Peter Voorhoeve, president, Volvo Trucks North America. “Programs like this highlight the expertise across our dealer network, and seeing these teams earn a place on the global stage is a significant accomplishment. It’s a proud moment for them and the dealerships they represent.”

“Continuous learning is critical in today’s rapidly evolving service environment, and VISTA brings that learning to life in a way that’s engaging and rewarding,” said Steven Parkins, vice president, Volvo Trucks Academy. “The competition reflects the passion our dealership teams bring to supporting customers every day and highlights the importance of investing in ongoing training across the Volvo Trucks network.”

Following the North American semi-finals held May 4 to 17, three teams secured their spot in the VISTA 2026 world finals, taking place September 7 to 11, 2026, in Gothenburg, Sweden — the home of Volvo Trucks.
