Sinoboom is expanding its range of crawler-mounted platforms with the new SPA27(E)J, a compact and lightweight model available in electric and diesel versions for use across different operating environments.

The SPA27(E)J offers a maximum working height of 27 m, a horizontal outreach of up to 14.2 m and an up-and-over clearance of 13 m. The turntable provides continuous 360° rotation, while the basket rotates +/-90°. The model uses a double telescopic boom, a solution designed to limit oscillation during extension and retraction and improve operating precision.

The platform has a transport length of less than 5 m, a feature that helps it access work areas with limited space. Operating weight is 4.5 tonnes for the electric SPA27(E)J and 3.9 tonnes for the diesel SPA27J, figures that are relevant for transport and handling. Basket capacity is 230 kg. The crawler undercarriage allows height and width adjustments, including one-side-only adjustments, to support machine positioning on uneven surfaces. Adjustable outriggers and standard non-marking rubber tracks complete the configuration.

The equipment includes a graphical interface for managing machine functions, real-time monitoring of operating status and fault diagnostics. Automatic travel and stowing functions are also available with a single command. On the maintenance side, the use of shared components with other Sinoboom boom lift models may help simplify spare parts inventory management.

The diesel SPA27J is powered by a 3-cylinder, 16.1 kW Kubota engine for outdoor applications. It also features an AC motor, allowing operation through a standard household power supply. The electric SPA27EJ uses a 15.3 kWh lithium battery and offers three charging modes at 220 V, with 10 A, 16 A and 32 A inputs. The SPA27EJ achieves a productivity rating of 20 Hird cycles.

“The SPA27EJ and SPA27J have been developed to meet the specific needs of our customers, who require agile and versatile access options for complex spaces such as shopping malls, transport hubs and construction sites. With the choice of electric or diesel variants, this machine represents a reliable and easily maneuverable solution for multiple scenarios, meaning enhanced ROI for both rental companies and end users alike.”

Said Hyman Yu, Head of the Global Product Management Centre.

The SPA27(E)J is available for order in several international markets. The United States, mainland Europe and Australia are currently excluded.
