Alimak introduces an interesting vertical transportation system with Scando 650a 40-46 S, STS 300, and Vectio 350. The Scando 650a 40-46 S is a modern construction hoist with a higher payload, reduced energy consumption, and advanced operation modes. The STS 300 simplifies scaffolding transport, optimizing workflow and reducing handling time. The Vectio 350 is a versatile transport platform with dual functionality, suited for compact spaces and lighter loads.

The Scando 650a offers a 25% higher payload capacity, increasing from 3,200 kg to 4,000 kg, while reducing energy consumption by 22% at an average load of 500 kg. Available in single or dual car configurations, it features a 1.5 m x 4.6 m car size and a standard lifting height of 200 m, extendable to 400 m on request.

New driving modes – industrial design HMI panel

The Scando 650a features a high-resolution touchscreen HMI panel with real-time status updates and IP65 water-resistant protection. New driving modes optimize efficiency and streamline vertical transportation on-site.

Driving modes

  • ECO mode: In Eco mode, the motors run at the most energy-efficient speed with low power consumption.
  • Optimized speed mode: Adapts and optimizes the speed dependent on current payload and available power.
  • Reduced speed mode: Reduced speed for low noise operation, beneficial if driving the hoist in residential areas at night.

A sustainable solution

With reduced energy consumption and a low manufacturing carbon footprint, the Scando 650a is one of the most sustainable hoists in the world and built to last.

Accessories such as mast, ties, vertical pipe systems, and landing equipment are fully compatible with the new Scando 650a and the existing Scando 650 range.

New features

The Alimak Scando 650a 40-46 S is lightweight and high. It features larger sliding doors for easier loading, a Smart Frequency Converter for smooth operation, and energy-efficient motors that lower CO₂ emissions. Enhanced safety and ergonomics include a foldable installation platform, improved handrails, and optimized servicing features. Fully compliant with EU Machinery Directive 12159:2024, it will be available from mid-2025.

Alimak is launching the Vectio 350 transport platform range this year.

The Alimak Vectio 350 is a redesigned and compact vertical access solution, ideal for tight spaces and lighter load requirements in construction and renovation projects. Available in six models with load capacities ranging from 500 kg to 2,000 kg, it offers a dual functionality: transport platform (12 m/min) or material lift (24 m/min) via a simple switch on the control panel.

The Features of Vectio 350

  • Deployable step for easier access to mast sections and bolts, improving safety and ergonomics.
  • Folding roof (FOPS), mast railing, and side railings for convenient assembly and maintenance.
  • Non-slip installation platform for safer handling of height components, landing gates, and the rack and pinion system.
  • Electrical installation crane for better ergonomics during mast handling.
  • Automatic rack lubricator to reduce maintenance and extend component lifespan.
  • Simplified access packs with fewer components for increased reliability.

Eco-friendly

The Alimak Vectio 350 is environmentally friendly. Its compact and lightweight design helps reduce environmental impact. Its sustainability is further enhanced by its new control system – with features such as AliSoft to save on energy consumption – and its digital connectivity, accessible through the My Alimak portal.
