ELGi, the India-headquartered compressed air specialist, will showcase its portable compressor line at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas (March 3–7), underlining more than a decade of investment in the U.S. construction market and its focus on high-utilisation jobsites.

ELGi’s U.S. construction growth has been anchored in portable air compressors, which are typically used on jobs where runtime is high and downtime is costly. The company positions this equipment for demanding applications such as underground construction, trenchless projects, fibre-optic installation, and utility work.

“ELGi’s growth in the U.S. hasn’t been about quick wins. It’s been about earning trust over time. We’ve focused on building compressors that are simple to operate, tough enough for harsh environments and supported by a team that’s easy to do business with. That combination has given us real staying power in the construction market.”

Said Brian Pahl, president of ELGi North America.

Alongside its portable range, ELGi will display an industrial rotary screw compressor to reflect the wider scope of its compressed air business beyond construction. The CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 stand will pair portable units with a representative industrial model, linking the company’s jobsite focus with its presence in manufacturing and other process industries. While portables remain the main construction offer, ELGi is using the show to signal continued investment across a broader compressed air portfolio.

• 185 CFM at 100 PSI
• Industry standard for general construction
• Supports a wide range of pneumatic tools and jobsite applications
• Built for high utilisation, simple operation and long service life

D300T4F: Selected for higher-demand infrastructure and multi-tool applications.
• 300 CFM at 100 PSI
• Suited for underground construction, utilities and trenchless support work
• Delivers consistent airflow for crews running multiple tools simultaneously
• A strong fit for fleets supporting infrastructure and municipal projects

EQ37: An industrial rotary screw compressor, included to represent ELGi’s broader compressed air portfolio beyond portable equipment.
• Designed for manufacturing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and industrial plant environments
• Reflects ELGi’s engineering depth, technology investment and global industrial experience
• Reinforces ELGi’s staying power as a full-spectrum compressed air manufacturer

On underground and infrastructure jobs, portable air compressors are often expected to run long hours in tight spaces and harsh conditions, particularly in high-utilisation fleets where downtime quickly becomes expensive. ELGi’s portable range is covered by a five-year, unlimited-hour airend warranty, a point aimed at contractors and rental operators who rack up hours fast and want clearer risk on the component that is typically the most costly to repair or replace. Beyond the machines, the company frames its U.S. approach around local support through partners, with an emphasis on parts availability and service response.

“In the construction world, speed matters. Quotes, parts, service. We back our partners by responding quickly and supporting fleets and contractors when uptime is on the line.”

Said Pahl.

ELGi will be on site in Las Vegas (March 3–7), at South Hall, Level 1, Booth S64123, for meetings with contractors, distributors, partners and media.
