For the second consecutive year, Cemen Tech and Master Builders of Iowa teamed up with construction industry members and supporters to benefit the non-profit organization Construction Angels. The Iowa Construction Angels Golf Outing, held on Sept. 11, 2024, saw more than 190 golfers take to the Legacy Golf Course in Norwalk, Iowa, to raise more than $142,000. The funds will benefit Iowa families of construction workers who have tragically lost their lives on the job by providing financial aid, grief counseling and scholarships.
“Cemen Tech is incredibly proud to lead an event that gives back to the families of Iowa’s construction workers who have faced unimaginable loss,” said Connor Deering, CEO and president of Cemen Tech. “Seeing the industry come together to raise awareness and funding for Construction Angels shows our deep sense of community and responsibility to each other. It’s truly an honor to contribute to such a meaningful cause.”
“Our construction workforce is the backbone of Iowa’s growth and success. Master Builders of Iowa is honored to support such an important organization and help provide much-needed assistance to those who unexpectedly experience the loss of a loved one,” said Chad Kleppe, president and CEO of Master Builders of Iowa. “This event underscores our commitment to the people who make Iowa strong and the lasting impact they leave behind.”
