“The future you build starts here” brings together openings across Komatsu dealers, company-owned sites and facilities in the United States.

Komatsu has launched a new workforce development campaign designed to make career opportunities across its U.S. organization and dealer network easier to find. Titled “The future you build starts here,” the campaign brings together job openings from Komatsu dealers as well as Komatsu-owned sites and facilities throughout the United States.

The initiative focuses on careers in the heavy equipment industry and presents them as starting points for long-term development. Available opportunities include roles for technicians, sales specialists, parts counter representatives and office staff. All openings connected to the campaign can be accessed through workforkomatsu.com.

At the heart of the campaign is the idea that a role in the skilled trades can become more than an entry point. Komatsu is positioning these opportunities as the beginning of a career path that can grow over time through hands-on learning, mentorship and continued development.

“Our approach to workforce development focuses on the holistic need to support our people, which better supports our customers’ needs. That starts at the point of sale and continues with unrivaled service, support and solutions”

says Grif Reome, Director of Technical Workforce Development, Komatsu North America.

“Many of our industry’s leaders started in the trades, proving that technical careers can lead to amazing opportunities and long-term career development and growth. We see it as Komatsu’s responsibility to enable those pathways and make them more visible to a broader network of people. It’s about driving their career development from their first role and every role after; building the workforce our industry needs for the future.”

The campaign will be promoted through live events, social media and online activity linked to the new career site. Komatsu says the message is centered on what can be possible through a career in the skilled trades, with a particular focus on three groups: high school graduates, middle-aged or late-career changers, and veterans returning to the workforce at the end of their military careers.

“We build up the person, and we will build up the vision for the career that can be possible for them. And in doing so, we will build up the support community for Komatsu and its customers throughout the U.S. and beyond.”

Reome said.

For Komatsu, the campaign links recruitment with career development across its wider support network. By bringing dealer, corporate and regional opportunities into one campaign, the company is aiming to make career pathways more visible to a broader audience.
