At the BKT booth, visitors will have access to a sneak preview session demonstrating the new tire management system called BKT Tire Track Pro. In addition to the new platform, BKT will be presenting MINExpo 2024 visitors a selection of its EARTHMAX tire lineup, which is specifically designed to meet the challenges of the mining industry. Among the patterns on display, there will be EARTHMAX SR 32 (40.5/75 R 39), a wide-base radial tire that is ideal for scrapers. It features a special compound providing extraordinary resistance to cuts and punctures while ensuring a long service life. EARTHMAX SR 41 (35/65 R 33) is distinguished by its ability to provide excellent traction on difficult terrain along with durability over time, ensuring many operating hours without downtime. EARTHMAX SR 468 (50/80 R 57), designed for rigid transport trucks, has an innovative tread pattern made of special compounds that are perfect for digging operations on hard, rocky, and challenging terrains — also thanks to a strong, squared shoulder that helps to eject single stones to protect the tire from damage. EARTHMAX SR 51 (29.5 R 29) has a strong construction and a special sidewall protection making it ideal for extreme operating conditions, while EARTHMAX SR 53 (60/80 R 57), which features a deep L-5 tread and a particularly cut-resistant compound, provides an extended service life along with excellent traction and stability. Rounding out the offering is MINE STAR (38 X 16 – 15), a cross-ply tire that is perfect for the most demanding mining operations because of its high resistance to cuts and punctures, optimizing the equipment’s operating efficiency.
