Tadano has recently enhanced its AI assistant with upgrades and voice control. heyTADANO is available around the clock for crane operators as the first point of contact for intelligent and fast crane support. Whether it’s answering operating instructions, technical questions, or troubleshooting, the assistant addresses complex needs.
“With heyTADANO, we are underscoring our expertise in AI-supported information solutions while simultaneously strengthening our service for partners and customers,” says Matthias Schneider, marketing manager EMEA and global digital marketing lead.
User guidance eliminates time-consuming manual searches
heyTADANO earned the coveted German Design Award primarily through its revamped design. This includes a clear categorization of products, a modern and consistent look, and optimized user guidance for even faster access to relevant information.
To ensure heyTADANO can provide the right answer to every question, Tadano trained its AI assistant using all operation manuals for every Tadano crane and other official Tadano documents. heyTADANO presents information in just a few moments — without the need for time-consuming manual searches or waiting for callbacks.
Voice control feature available on iOS devices
For iOS devices, Tadano offers a dedicated heyTADANO app. This feature enables convenient voice control activated by the voice command “Hey Tadano.” Once activated, questions can be asked verbally, to which the app responds with a computer-generated voice. A web version is available for Android devices, which includes a tap-to-speech function for voice input. “The new voice function significantly simplifies the use of the app, especially in operational settings,” emphasizes Matthias Schneider.
