TYM opens TYM Northeast Campus in the northeastern United States, advancing local market competitiveness.

Agricultural machinery specialist TYM announced that its North American subsidiary “TYM North America” has opened the TYM Northeast Campus in Bloomsburg, Pa.

The opening of the TYM Northeast Campus represents a strategic investment to equip TYM with competitive strength in the North American market, which accounts for the largest portion of TYM’s overseas sales. Through this, TYM has been able to firmly establish the TYM brand in the northeastern region of the United States, a key market for compact tractors, and also maximize its logistics competitiveness.

The inauguration ceremony of the TYM Northeast Campus, held on the morning of Aug. 22, was attended by TYM NA Vice President Kim Ho-gyeom, employees, participants from 13 dealerships, as well as local dignitaries including U.S. Senators and the Mayor.

The TYM Northeast Campus spans a total of 10,355 sq. yds., encompassing spaces for product assembly, finished goods storage, service training and parts sales, with the entire site area reaching 64,953 sq. yds. TYM is positioning the Northeast Campus as a hub for the northeastern United States, including eastern Canada, to strengthen product wholesale and retail in North America’s largest market for compact tractors and to focus on expanding market share.

In addition, it is expected that by providing prompt and accurate parts services to dealers in the northeastern United States, not only will customer satisfaction be enhanced, but also logistics efficiency will be improved through timely assembly, production and supply of products, significantly reducing transportation costs, the company said.

Additionally, with the TYM Northeast Campus handling shipments for the northeastern United States, the Great Lakes area, and regions in Canada, it is anticipated that the existing TYM factory in Rome, Ga., will be able to focus on the southeastern region, resulting in synergistic effects such as further reductions in logistics costs.

A TYM official stated, “The newly opened TYM Northeast Campus is expected to solidify the TYM brand in the North American market and greatly improve logistics efficiency, serving as a foundation to strengthen our global market competitiveness,” and added, “TYM will make company-wide efforts to enhance the experience and satisfaction of local dealers and customers, even in the challenging North American market environment, and to grow together.”
