Kubota’s new LX Series tractor is designed to bridge the gap between the manufacturer’s B and L Series compact machines.

Introduced as crossover tractors, the new LX Series offers three models including the entry-level LX2610SU open station, as well as the well-equipped LX2610 and LX3310, both of which come with open station and cab model options.

Designed with both residential and commercial operators in mind, the LX Series has the versatility to tackle rural residential tasks while providing the power and comfort to handle commercial applications.

The new LX Series compact tractors arrived on the market Canada-wide in May.

More from Kubota:

“We are very excited to launch the new LX Series in Canada. This new series is the perfect fit in the compact utility tractor segment between our current B and L Series,’’ said Yannick Montagano, vice president of sales and marketing for Kubota Canada Ltd.

“We are confident the all-new LX Series will meet the demands of residential property owners as well as commercial operators, in a wide range of applications from snow removal to landscaping.”

Kubota’s LX Series compact tractors are powered by Kubota diesel engines ranging from 24.9 to 30.8 horsepower.

The LX3310 model features a Kubota Common Rail System diesel engine that is engineered for the harsh Canadian climate, while providing better fuel economy, lower emissions as well as a high level of power, torque and performance.

The LX Series provides manoeuvrability in a compact size, allowing its operators to use 1.5 metre or 1.8 metre mid-mount mowers. However, the tractors maintain the power and weight required to operate a front loader with a lift capacity of more than 450 kg.

The 3-point hitch delivers the lift capacity required for a wide variety of performance-matched rear implements. As well, the LX Series features Goodyear R14 crossover tires for use in snow, ice, turf or mud.

Comfort and functionality were top priorities in designing the LX Series, which is available in both deluxe open station and cab models. The cab model is equipped with a 4-pillar integrated cabin and includes standard features like heat and air conditioning, front and rear LED work lights, cabin interior light, front and rear wipers with washer, rear defogger and speakers.

Both open station and cab models feature cruise control, tilt steering and a new deluxe suspension seat with armrests that keep operators comfortable and productive.

Entry-level LX Series option

The new LX Series features an entry-level LX2610SU. The LX2610SU provides both value and quality with features to maximize performance including a Kubota-built front loader and backhoe, multiple tire options and a Category I 3-point hitch to connect performance-matched implements to handle a wide variety of applications. Available only as an open station model, the LX2610SU is an ideal option for first-time tractor buyers.
