Komatsu is expanding customer support and infrastructure in the Western United States with the planned opening of a new parts distribution facility in Mesa, Arizona. The new location, which is expected to become operational by the end of 2026, will strengthen regional parts availability, improve delivery responsiveness and help dealers and customers maximise equipment uptime across the region.

Komatsu is making a significant investment in the Mesa facility, including automation, storage systems and operational enhancements, to position inventory closer to customers and streamline delivery.

The 270,000-square-foot distribution hub will include:

  • Stocking parts for construction, mining, forklift and forestry equipment;
  • Improving regional parts availability through localised inventory;
  • Reducing freight distance and transportation requirements;
  • Enabling next-morning delivery to many Western dealers.
Komatsu’s new Mesa parts distribution facility is scheduled to open by the end of 2026.

“This investment reflects Komatsu’s long-term commitment to strengthening support for our dealers and customers across the Western U.S. With expanded distribution capabilities and greater inventory availability positioned closer to our customers, we can respond faster, improve equipment uptime and deliver a better overall support experience.”

Said Danny Murtagh, Vice President of Parts and Infrastructure.

Komatsu’s expansion in the region points to a broader effort to strengthen its U.S. footprint, with a focus on retail, parts availability, rental and field support for sectors where equipment uptime remains critical.
