Bobcat launched an updated generation of its R-Series skid-steer and compact track loaders to the European market, alongside a revised T650 compact track loader configured for Stage V markets.
Updated R-Series lineup
Bobcat has revised the R-Series naming to distinguish the latest generation of machines. The change is meant to help customers track incremental model updates as new technology and performance changes are introduced, with the updated designation signalling the most recent specification.
The refreshed R-Series range includes:
- Compact track loaders: T66-2, T76-2, T86-2
- Skid-steer loaders: S66-2, S76-2, S86-2
Cab updates are aimed at day-to-day usability and include a revised layout, additional charging options, updated control interfaces, and improvements to visibility and access. Key changes across the lineup include a redesigned electrical system, improved durability and uptime, and a new 8-inch colour touchscreen display (1280 x 720). Operators can also select from four drive modes: Balanced, Agile, Dynamic and Charged, ranging from smoother response to more aggressive settings.
On the large-frame S86-2 and T86-2, lift height at the hinge pin increases to around 3.7 m (12 ft) from roughly 3.4 m (11 ft). Engine output on those models rises from 77 kW (105 hp) to 85.75 kW (115 hp).
Other changes include factory-installed frame seals, improved harness and hose protection, relocation of the hydraulic sight gauge, and updated exterior decals.
“Bobcat is introducing solutions designed to support operators of every experience level through intuitive controls, smarter systems and simplified operation. The aim is to improve reliability, durability and the user experience of the R-Series loaders, delivering tangible benefits for dealers and customers.”
Said Katinka Kincses, Bobcat product manager for loaders.
T650 Stage V for regulated markets
Bobcat has added a Stage V version of the T650 compact track loader for Europe and for other areas subject to Stage V regulations. The machine is produced at the Dobris plant in the Czech Republic and meets Stage V requirements without the use of AdBlue. Power is provided by a 2.4-litre Bobcat engine, rated at 55 kW (74 hp).

The T650 features a vertical lift path and a rated operating capacity of 1,192 kg, placing the model in applications such as truck loading, pallet handling and earthmoving in contexts where space is limited.
Equipment and options include the Bob-Tach attachment-mounting system, optional High-Flow hydraulics, and standard Machine IQ telematics.
