Carolina Cat held a Next Generation Demo Days event Oct. 11-13, at an expansive 20-acre quarry in Midland, N.C.
The event drew more than 500 customers, including a diverse group of industry professionals, equipment manufacturers and potential buyers. Attendees were provided with a unique opportunity to experience the latest cutting-edge construction, power, paving and technology equipment up close and personal.
The event showcased an extensive collection of more than 50 pieces of equipment, including dozers, excavators, articulated trucks, compact track loaders and more. In addition to equipment demonstrations, the event hosted an array of partners and vendors booths, providing an in-depth opportunity to explore Carolina Cat’s product offerings and services. Vendors included Atlas Copco, Multiquip Inc., B2W Software Inc., Wanco Inc., Allmand, Genie, Hydrema and Tenna.
Carolina Cat also provided attendees with an opportunity to learn more about SITECH Horizon, Power Products and Solutions, Prime Source and Hydraulics Express.

On the final day of the event, Carolina Cat closed its doors to the public and hosted an exclusive, employee-only continuation of the Demo Days event, organized by the company’s Women LEAD Employee Resource Group. With more than 100 attendees, the Women LEAD event extended the Demo Days theme to employees, offering women a unique opportunity to network, explore mentorship avenues and receive hands-on tutorials on various Cat products. The event also featured two accomplished women leaders from the construction industry, who shared their experiences and offered mentorship advice to women working in the field.
“The event was a huge success,” said Christy Smith, marketing manager of Carolina Cat and member of Women LEAD. “We received a ton of positive feedback and notable achievements throughout.
