The new HX210L long-track excavator from HD Construction Equipment Hyundai North America incorporates many of the new features first shown on the five Next-Generation HX excavator models that debuted earlier this year at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. These include productivity-driving upgrades, improved fuel efficiency, and changes that make the HX210L even more comfortable, safer, and easier to service.
The HX210L features a new, high-performance Hyundai DX05 engine, rated at 186 hp (139 kW) net power, that delivers six percent more torque and seven percent greater fuel efficiency, while reducing DEF consumption by 30 percent. Other improvements include added comfort features, extended service intervals, and enhanced safety features.
The Hyundai HX210L has a rated operating weight of 54,900 lb (24,900 kg) and maximum dig depth of 21 feet 9 inches (6.32 metres).
According to Joe Hodges, Hyundai’s product manager for excavators, the HX210L’s proven pilot-controlled hydraulic system delivers the traditional feel and performance operators already appreciate from Hyundai, while making it a budget-friendly choice for rental houses and larger fleets.
Built on the same heavy-duty platform as the more robustly equipped HX230L, the HX210L comes standard with a 10,800 lb (4,900 kg) heavy counterweight to enhance stability and lifting capacity. Its reinforced upper structure, upgraded swing bearing, increased swing torque, and larger-capacity, heavy-duty buckets help boost productivity.
