Safety is enhanced for operators through innovative technologies
The cabin throughout the -11 series has been designed with enhanced ergonomics and safety features. A 7-way adjustable, heated air suspension seat moves together with the armrests and hydraulic controls to reduce operator fatigue, improve shock absorption, and enhance comfort when working.
The operator’s pilot levers move horizontally without arching the wrist while also providing shorter lever strokes for swift, precise movement. Multiple air-conditioning and heater vents are directed toward the operator to maximize comfort. On the right side of the console, a jog dial integrates multiple functions into a single user interface on a large 10-inch colour monitor. The easy-to-operate menu screen facilitates reading information such as work mode, maintenance intervals, and fuel consumption. As well, the screen provides a 270-degree view from the machine’s standard three-camera system.
The hydraulic flow-rate modes of the breaker, nibbler, and rotating grapple are also now fully adjustable by the operator through the monitor, and the mode settings for other attachments, such as a hammer, can also be added or changed to customize the operator’s experience.
In addition, all internal switches and dials in the cabin have LED backlighting to provide a bright, clear view in the dark. The cabin is equipped with an FM/AM, AUX, Bluetooth, hands-free telephone radio, smartphone holder, USB charger, and a 12V power outlet. Adding to the standard features is the KOMEXS telematic system, K-LOAD weighing system, and a 4-year, or 4,000-hour limited full machine warranty. Optional items include a front cab guard and a removable counterweight.
