The newest compact machine from Liebherr will replace the R 914 compact G6 with the R 915 compact G8 in the future. The crawler excavator model debuted at bauma in Munich to show off its capabilities.

With an output of 90 kW/122 hp and an operating weight of 15 tonnes, the new R 915 compact G8 model has a slewing radius of just 1.55 mm. With its stage V diesel engine and high digging force, the R 915 Compact G8 is designed especially for use in tight spaces or on city building sites. The diesel engine is more accessible thanks to it being installed longitudinally. The remaining maintenance points can also be reached easily from the ground. The central lubrication system saves time during daily maintenance.

New driver’s cab with INTUSI operating concept

The R 915 Compact G8 also features a new driver’s cab with a futuristic design, which will become standard on all Liebherr construction and material handling machines in the earthmoving segment in the future. This large, ergonomic workstation offers a wide range of convenient equipment and a large storage compartment. It also offers a digital assistance system: the intuitive INTUSI operating concept can be adjusted as required, is intuitive, and makes the driver’s work easier. The modern operating environment ensures a special user experience and enables efficient, productive, and convenient work.
