FAE has enhanced the versatility of its RCU45 remote-controlled tracked carrier with the new PML/RCU swinging hammer mulcher.

The PML/RCU is an efficient solution for mulching grass, brambles, woody material, and brush up to 2 inches in diameter.

This head features a hydraulic hood for better control of outflowing material, a support roller with integrated skids, a trapezoidal belt transmission, and interchangeable protection chains.

The PML/RCU for the RCU45 can be equipped with Y/2 flails or PML hammers.

The RCU45 is FAE’s ultra-compact remote-controlled vehicle, designed to manage vegetation in hard-to-reach areas or on steeply sloping terrain that requires maximum efficiency and operator safety. It is ideal for working in municipal green areas or hilly and wooded environments, as well as near railroad tracks, power lines, gas and oil pipelines, gardens, roads, highways, canals, rivers, and lakes. In addition to the PML/RCU, this vehicle can be equipped with a BL0/RCU forestry mulcher, which features a fixed-blade rotor and Bite Limiter technology, and is capable of shredding branches and wood up to 4 inches in diameter.
