WireCo, a US-based company and global supplier of steel and synthetic rope solutions, will attend CONEXPO 2026, showcasing its latest technologies for crane lifting applications, focusing on the CASAR and OLIVEIRA lines. At the booth, several rope samples will be displayed, putting the spotlight on “Made in USA” products, including the latest additions: CASAR Lazerlift, CASAR Boomfit, and OLIVEIRA Durascend.

CASAR Lazerlift is a rotation-resistant hoist rope designed for use on large telescopic cranes, crawler cranes, and high-capacity tower cranes. Developed for demanding lifts, it ensures smooth spooling and a high minimum breaking force. The product was introduced in 2025 following controlled tests and evaluations in real operating environments.

“Lazerlift was developed in direct response to the operating conditions we are seeing across today’s large and high-capacity cranes. By focusing on consistent spooling and strength performance, we are addressing modern lifting demands, and CONEXPO-CON/AGG allows us to put that performance front and center”

Said Timothy Klein, WireCo’s Senior Principal Engineer, Global Lifting and Fabrication.

Also on display in the exhibition area will be CASAR Boomfit, a steel rope designed for use as an adjustment rope in boom hoist applications on telescopic cranes, crawler cranes and large tower cranes. The product is designed to support multi-layer spooling conditions and incorporates a plastic-coated steel core developed using CASAR rope technology. The design aims to ensure stable performance and durability in crane applications.

Completing the lineup is OLIVEIRA Durascend, a compact, rotation-resistant rope designed for small to medium-sized tower and mobile cranes. It is available in diameters from 8 mm to 19 mm and is positioned as a cost-efficient solution for applications where high-performance rope constructions are not required.

“Our current crane rope portfolio reflects a deliberate effort to address different lifting requirements without over-specifying solutions. Across Lazerlift, Boomfit, and Durascend, we are providing operators with clearly defined options that align performance, application needs, and cost considerations”

Explained David Rowatt, PhD, PE, WireCo’s Chief Technical Officer.

During the show, visitors will have the opportunity to examine rope constructions and discuss applications across a wide range of crane types and operating requirements. WireCo invites attendees to meet the team at booth N10519, North Hall, for a direct discussion on rope selection and use cases.
