In October 2025, Hitachi Construction Machinery announced that beginning in April 2027, its official corporate and brand name will change to LANDCROS. Hitachi’s exhibit at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in the Festival Grounds will celebrate the company’s past and present while looking ahead at its future as LANDCROS, offering solutions beyond machinery.

Hitachi’s open area booth will be filled with the latest equipment, including multiple new machines. The company will also celebrate its engineering history with models featuring the company’s hydraulic systems.

A highlight of Hitachi’s technology exhibit is its collaboration with the winning startups of the 2024 Hitachi Construction Machinery Challenge: Sodex, Teleo, and Veristart. Since their wins, Hitachi Construction Machinery has worked with and invested in these startups to develop technology that addresses labour shortages and operator machine access.

The company will also unveil LANDCROS Assist Pro, a prototype AI application that can assist operators and technicians whether they are inside or outside the cab. Attendees will be able to demo this system as well as a semi-autonomous excavator that can be programmed to take on repetitive tasks without an operator.

Other solutions on display include Hitachi Construction Machinery’s new machine guidance/machine control system. Attendees will be able to view the LANDCROS Connect machine monitoring system and the Autonomous Haulage Solution for mining trucks.

Hitachi Construction Machinery can be found at booth F19012 in the Festival Grounds.
