Steelwrist has received its seventh consecutive recognition in Sweden’s Best Managed Companies programme, as the group expands its international presence and continues the rollout of new excavator solutions.

Steelwrist has been recognised as one of Sweden’s Best Managed Companies 2026, an award promoted by Deloitte in collaboration with Swedbank. It is the seventh consecutive year the company has received the recognition, allowing it to reach the Platinum level of the programme. The award ceremony was held in Stockholm on May 26, when the winners were announced.

Sweden’s Best Managed Companies is an annual recognition for privately owned Swedish companies that stand out for management quality and organisational strength. The Swedish edition of the programme was launched in 2018, with the first awards presented the following year, and is part of Deloitte’s global Best Managed Companies initiative, founded in Canada in 1993.

The assessment is based on four pillars: strategy, ability to innovate, corporate culture and employee engagement, as well as governance and financial performance. Companies recognised for several consecutive years can progress to Gold and Platinum levels; the latter is awarded after seven consecutive years of recognition.

“We are proud to present the award to these 16 companies, all of which demonstrate strong leadership, a clear strategic agenda, and well-functioning processes. Unlisted, private companies account for a large part of our workforce, our revenues, and a vibrant business community, and constitute an important building block in the Swedish economy. We are therefore especially pleased to present the award for best-managed companies to these entrepreneurs,”

Said Lina Thörn, partner at Deloitte and head of the Best Managed Companies programme in Sweden.

“We want to extend a special congratulations to our gold and platinum members who have received the award for at least four and seven consecutive years, respectively. It is truly inspiring to see so many of these companies continue to invest and measure themselves against their set goals year after year.”

Added Thörn.

After celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, Steelwrist continued its international growth path, now operating directly in 19 countries. The company’s offering centres on tiltrotators, automatic quick couplers and excavator work tools designed to improve efficiency and versatility on site.

In 2026, the group is continuing work on several fronts: from the rollout of third-generation XTR tiltrotators to the launch of the QuantumConnect control system platform, as well as the strengthening of commercial and operational activities in several global markets.

“Receiving the Sweden’s Best Managed Companies recognition for the seventh consecutive year, and thereby reaching the Platinum level, is something we are very proud of. I believe this milestone reflects our unique culture, the dedication and hard work of our global team and our constant strive for continuous improvement throughout the company. It confirms that we have built a strong foundation for continued growth and development,”

Said Stefan Stockhaus, CEO of Steelwrist.

The recognition comes at a time of development for Steelwrist, marked by an expanded international presence and the launch of new solutions for excavator applications.
