Takeuchi-US has completed redesigning its website to make research, comparing machines, configuring equipment, and connecting with local dealers easier than ever.

The new website is part of a broader, company-wide initiative and shares a common platform with Takeuchi’s new global corporate website. The shared platform provides a more connected and consistent digital experience across Takeuchi’s worldwide operations while allowing content to be tailored to different audiences and markets. Guided by the theme “Built for the Way You Work,” the new U.S. site provides a faster, simpler, and more intuitive way to explore Takeuchi equipment, attachments, and resources.

Prioritizing buyer experience

Before beginning the design process, Takeuchi conducted extensive interviews with customers and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize the website capabilities that would provide the most value. The project also included close collaboration among Takeuchi teams around the world, beginning with in-person meetings at the company’s headquarters in Japan and continuing throughout the development process.

That research helped place equipment exploration at the centre of the new website experience. Users can browse equipment by product category, with redesigned product pages that make specifications and other important information easy to find. A new machine configurator allows users to build a machine with specific features and options, while a comparison tool makes it easier to evaluate specifications across different models. An enhanced Dealer Locator quickly connects visitors with their local Takeuchi dealer.

The new site also features simplified navigation and expanded access to brochures, videos, and support resources, along with the latest Takeuchi news and information about financing, current offers, and promotions.

“Our new website reflects the way we’re seeing customers access our information online,” said Stephen Odum, national marketing manager for Takeuchi-US. “Because much of our website traffic now comes from mobile devices, we wanted to provide an online experience that works seamlessly on smartphones and tablets. We also wanted to make it simpler to research and explore equipment options online, regardless of location.”

“Whether you’re standing on a jobsite with a phone in hand or researching your next machine from the office, we want you to be able to quickly find the information you need and confidently explore your options,” Odum said. “The new website helps you find the right machine for your needs and take the next step by connecting with a Takeuchi dealer.”
