Versatile machines that keep strict production schedules are essential on today’s job sites, especially in confined spaces where larger machines can’t fit.

With its 1,000-lb-plus (454-kg-plus) rated operating capacity, the new TUL100 compact utility loader from Caterpillar delivers reliable performance in tight spaces. Featuring a 35.7-inch (907-millimetre) width option, the machine delivers easy manoeuvring in tight spaces, while the 41.5-inch (1054-millimetre) track width increases stability and lowers ground contact pressure. Additionally, Caterpillar offers a portfolio of attachments to equip the machine for a wide range of applications.

Key features of the Cat TUL100 compact utility loader

  • Advanced hydraulic system delivering 16 gpm flow at 3,046 psi (60 l/min at 21 001 kPa)
  • Continuous auxiliary flow for hands-free operation of auxiliary tools
  • Adjustable auxiliary flow for operator control of hydraulic oil flow to attachment
  • Cat C1.1 turbo diesel engine meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards without aftertreatment

Performance is customizable to the operator’s preference

The new TUL100 can be configured to meet a wide range of job-site challenges, and intuitive and adaptable controls make operation simple, including:

  • 4.2-inch (107-millimetre) colour LCD enables operators to fine-tune drive and implement response
  • Display with 32 different language options and 50 multi-operator security codes that save operator preferences
  • Multifunction joysticks with thumb roller for auxiliary hydraulic flow
  • 2-speed feature for faster travel
  • Creep control for lowering maximum travel speed at full joystick movement
  • Handholds at the top of the operator station for additional contact points when stepping on or off the machine
  • Cushioned operator platform with ergonomic mat

“Our TUL100 is designed and developed by Caterpillar following the same design and quality standards as our larger machines. It features adaptable controls to meet operator needs across various industries and experience levels. In addition to width options, we have two coupler configurations — Common Industry Interface (CII) and Narrow Skid Steer Loader (NSSL) — which allow the machine to run a wide range of attachments, giving more operating flexibility,” shared Zach Waite, commercial director for Caterpillar Industry Solutions.
